At Nails' n we work with the theme of autumn, light and dark, and today the kids at Scout `n made a høsttre. On Monday we were on tour to Setra where we found many maple leaves in different colors that we pressed unknown and laminated. We started by painting the trunk and branches, which then had to hang a while to dry.
When the dry season was over, we hung up the tree on the wall. We talked about why the colors on one side of the blade is stronger than the other. We found that it could be because one side of the blade overhang, and turn more sunlight. The children hung up all the colorful leaves with help from the adults. Some of the leaves hung still stuck on the branches, while others had started to fall down. The end result we are pleased :)
