Scout Historical Encyclopedia is Scout Norway's warehouse own Wikipedia, in which we gather information about all Norwegian scout story. Many groups have contributed information about their group. Now it's even easier to add information if you have not started!
Scout Historical encyclopedia was started three years ago and now has 4,600 articles about people, groups, circles and camps. Encyclopedia using the wiki technology, just like the big online encyclopedia Wikipedia. This technology makes it easy to enter to input information and change it.
However, the introduction of new pages - for example, for new groups warehouse - is not always easy. For it's part "due to coding" takes on each side. Some have thus wondered how to boot. 720 active groups
This volunteer group who work in Scout Historical Encyclopedia done something. Over the weekend completed a home page for each active group known in Norwegian YWCA-YMCA Scouts and Scouts of Norway. There are about 720 groups in total!
With over 4600 pages article about former and current scout groups, circles, associations, individuals and more quirky scout themes, beginning Scout Historical Encyclopedia to be a solid base for many of scouting various sites. Add your team's history!
Now we need a little help from the associations website and others, to fill the pages with the fabric and stories from the diverse scout Norway. Becoming aware of their history and to see connections, can provide conscious people!

Anyone can help with changes or additions Scout Historical Encyclopedia. Our only "requires" is that you register as a user. This is to avoid trouble with vandals who want to destroy us. You can go here to request warehouse account
NB: For some groups may now be experiencing double sides because previous pages are not placed by the naming convention. We try to find these duplicates and clean up, or you can do it yourself!
It was big anniversary in Bodø about a week ago when 1 Bodo celebrated 100 years. Now the group has laid out most of their history in Scouting Historical Encyclopedia. It is interesting reading about including scout music, bombing, cabins and camp visits.
